Has anyone been out to one of these? Thoughts?

| It is not remote at all, but there is no way I would pay that much money for a townhouse in that neighborhood. |
| On a hot day I am sure you can smell Fort Totten from your front yard. A big plus. |
not at all isolated, and satellite view shows a huge building right next to this development. Any particular reason you like this location? |
Like the idea of a new build, but not the reality of living next to a large building (I believe it is a food bank) and waste transfer station. Just perusing options before spring. |
That is the price of D.C. |
| I lived near Fort Totten. It is quiet which I actually liked. |
| The interior looks exactly like my sister's $200K new build in rural North Carolina. |
Having lived in NC that's pretty much the price differential. 500k or more here, 200k or so there. |
Unsurprising. I haven't found townhomes to vary all that much in design and layout. The question is whether you want to be in rural North Carolina or in a sleepy neighborhood in DC. |
| This is in NE Dc. You’ll get shot |
Michigan Park is actually very safe.
|
| What's with the up and down kitchen cabinets? Yuck. |
| OP here, checked them out in person. Warehouse next door is pretty ugly, but townhome itself is open and spacious. Seems like a good value for being close-ish to metro. |
| Ft is getting nicer. |
