Anyone tried Peleton Bikes for the home?

I am thinking about buying one.

I've tried them at a gym and I'm going to buy one. I love spinning classes but it's never very convenient for me to go to one, and I find it does give the experience of a class without having to actually go to one. If you like spin class like SoulCycle or FlyWheel then you will probably like this.

I would love one - someday! Friends got one as a gift last year and they love it.

Is there a place to try them out in person before buying?

Let me know if you become a beautiful person who lives in a mansion in the hills of California with your beautiful children and spouse who happily let you work out in broad daylight on your Peleton bike that is kept in the vicinity of your top of line kitchen.

I am considering it too. I.love spin classes but find the timing hard to manage.

If you have one and love it do you do the live classes or the prerecorded ones?

We bought 2 (one for DH and one for me). We’ve had them for almost 2 years and use them regularly. We love it! For us, having 2 has kept us going because we motivate (guilt) each other.

I'm curious about having two - do you work out at the same time? Same workout?

I purchased a bike last March and love it. In addition to the spin classes, there are yoga, strength, and stretch classes that are great and range from 5-30 minutes each.

We already had a spin bike so just subscribe to the Peloton app - it’s $12.99/month and our iPad mounts on top of our handlebars so it’s a great alternative if you or your hubby want to have the option of watching things other than the Peloton classes and/or would prefer a different spin bike.

+1. We have the same set-up.

I would buy it if this would happen to me...

Yep. We workout together. WE pick a class and do it together as if we are in class. A couple times, he has been in NY for work and done live classes and I rode "with" him at home.

For those who just do the app, is there a good bike you recommend?
