Stinking up the bathroom

Anonymous
Ok, so I hate to admit it, but I've always been a "heavy hitter" when it comes to bathroom stench. Much worse than DH, even. It can be pretty inconvenient in public, or especially at someone else's house. Any other ladies in the same boat? How do you deal with it?

Carry around a box of matches. Light one after taking a dump. Combine that with courtesy flushes.

I use Poo Pourri at work. It works! I always use an extra spritz in the air before I leave too.

What is in your diet? I am a carnivore, but red meat makes a terrible smell, maybe cut back on that. Other than that - open a window and give it a couple of minutes.

It's probably something in your diet. Dairy makes my poo smell rancid.

Dairy, meat, and refined sugars do this to me.

Courtesy flush almost immediately! Helps a lot.

My diet's pretty good I think, lots of fish, chicken and veggies and only occasional red meat. I do love cheese though, so that probably doesn't help.

I'll usually open the window and turn on the fan, but it's still a good 15 to 20 minutes before it's "safe" to enter.

Add a daily probiotic.

I had a fatty steak last night and this thread makes me feel better. Lol

2nd on the poopourie or Unicorn gold. Or just get a small bottle of an essential oil. It really does work.

I used to be like this. I started taking magnesium at night before bed and now I poop in the morning - very quickly. It's done and flushed in probably less than 20 seconds. No more lingering smell or awkward situations in public or friends homes.

OP, I am exactly the same. I try and flush as soon as it 'hits.', try and get the windows open and give the area a good spray with deodorant lying around.

That's insane.
