Beauty-
I'm looking for new beauty routine basics. My only holy grail is Exfolikate facial exfoliator. You spread it on your face and massage for 30 seconds, leave on for up to 2 minutes before rinsing, and your face is left suuuper smooth and clean. I've been following up with vanicream lotion... which is good but I'm not 100 sold on. Fashion- Burberry trench. I have two and love them both because I can throw one on and feel reasonably put together. My other go-to has been black leggings... but only because I just had a baby and they are about all I can stand on my incision area and stomach. Please share yours! |

For face, my holy grails are:
REN glycol lactic acid face mask - this has left my face so smooth and glowing, and I only use it once a week. Generation G lipstick in Crush - the only lip product I use now. For hair, the Turbie Twist towel - now and forever. So corny, so "as sold on TV," but it works. |

Beauty: Tarte Amazonian Clay liquid foundation. It's an exact match for my skin and looks natural, yet hides everything without feeling heavy at all.
Fashion: my BLK DNM leather motorcycle jacket #1. It's so badass. I feel amazing when I wear it and get lots of compliments. |
|
Bag balm on my hands every night before bed.
I use Vanicream too- when Nutriderm was taken off the market (sigh) I read it was a good replacement. Not bad. RIP. |
| Micellar water to remove makeup/sunscreen (with a cotton pad). My dry skin improved immensely after using it. I don't use any other cleanser afterwards. |

Kiehls #1 lip balm
Skinceuticals physical fusion tinted sunscreen Kiehls creme de corps Frye boots |
What brand do you use? I've tried a few and liked one ok... the rest made my skin feel filmy. |
| Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion, Burts Bees chapstick and Jordans. |

Shu Uemura eyelash curler (or Tweezerman)
Head 'n Shoulders Soft and Silky Shampoo and Conditioner-- after years of trying different products at all different price points, this is the only stuff that makes my fine hair feel clean, soft, AND full of body. I LOVE it. Viviscal hair vitamins Paula's Choice eyeshadows- go on silky, don't crease, colors are true to the palette, and reasonably priced. My clothes, shoes, and accessories are all over the place, but one thing I don't typically go cheap on are handbags. I don't have anything over $500 (except maybe work totes), but I just can't excited over a random handbag. |
About a year or two ago I became allergic to lipstick. The Burts Bees tinted chapstick is all I can wear-- love it! |
I use the Simple brand. You can get it at Target or Wal-Mart. If your face feels filmy try rinsing it with plain water. |

Sounds silly but good-fitting, flattering yoga pants. As soon as I get home, I change in to them and feel like my DH seems me in those more than any other clothes. Even if I don't have make up on and my hair is a mess, I feel put together/attractive in them. I like the kind from Victoria's Secret.
For products, I recently discovered argon oil for my face and coconut oil for my body and my skin feels great. |

+1 on Micelluar water. I use the L'Oreal or Garnier brand.
Perfect Day conditioner. Tinted mineral sunscreen. |
