Ordinarily, I would agree. However, the President, his staff and cabinet have made it a point to willfully discredit themselves. They have succeeded. Wonderfully. And in doing so, they have begged the people of this world to stop respecting them. The world will oblige them.

Respect is earned. Even Trump can admit to that. They haven't earned anything yet. Indeed, if anything, he's earned scorn, jeers and laughter from me. He's a joke, a serious joke.

Initially, for whomever wins the Presidency is given respect. Trump and his "team" have slowly chipped away at any respect that was initially given. He is out of his element and his administration peddles "alternative facts." Respectable Presidents deal only in facts.

No. And I have never said that about any President, Republican or Democrat. I do not even acknowledge his presidency. He is a fraud who hopefully will soon be out of our White House.

I have respect for those that have earned it.
I completely respect General Mattis and General McMasters.
I had respect for Kelly, but he has since lost it.

Why is it that someone who calls his constituents haters deserves my respect? I have more respect for the box of tic tacs he carries (so he can have fresh breath when he assaults women) than I have for him.

FYI, if he would have shown just a modicum of decorum, I probably would have shown him the respect that the title deserves.

Can you explain, why he deserves MY respect? As an American Citizen and a voter, I would love to know.
