I will respect the institution and office of the presidency by treating the current President (regardless of identity or party) with due deference in the unlikely event I ever meet a sitting President, and by not saying anything derogatory or deliberately making personal attacks against those who hold public office, but I certainly will not falsely claim to respect those individuals and I will absolutely continue to be outspoken regarding any policy issues I feel strongly about, which happens to mean opposing most of what the current President and his Cabinet intend to implement. |
