Jeff, Please Verify No Sock-Puppeting Is Going On

Hi Jeff,

I'm the publicist poster on the board and in two threads, I've attempted to provide some good / useful information for posters who have asked for shopping advice. For the most part, this has been positive, but as you know, this is DCUM, and haters with nothing better to do will always crawl out of the woodwork. One today accused me of "sock-puppeting" to promote certain brands, and I'd like for you to clear this up, as I am in no way responding to my own posts. Especially not to promote any brands. If you could just confirm, once and for all, that I'm not "sock-puppeting" I'd greatly appreciate it.

Have not seen these threads, but just curious why it bothers you so much. Pretty easy to let stuff like this slide and not let it get under your skin on an anonymous board.

No, what I said still applies. You don't have to respond to trolls. In fact in you try to argue with them you're just helping them win at their own game.

I am a NP, but if you really think no one cares about the viciousness and rudeness of posters just because they are "anonymous" then I don't think you understand psychology very well.

Thank you from another PP who really enjoyed publicist's posts. She posted a link to this thread in the beauty section in order to prove her realness, but for some reason I cannot add a reply and get a "forbidden" message. Is this thread locked? Thank you!
