| DId this really require a subject with ALL CAPS? |
We are using the first snow day to see a white Guy? |
| Speaks volumes about the makeup of the school board. Did the county vote Trump? |
What is the ratio between Republcians and Dems? I find it funnny that they are comparing it too Obama. |
What on earth are you implying? Inauguration Day is federal holiday - always. Schools get the day off. Nice to try and turn this into something political though.

With a carrot face. |
You do realize PWCS got Inauguration Day off in 2009 for Obama, right? I guess that's ok though. |
I agree - most federal employees in the region will get the day off, and most school districts will be closed as well. But note that federal employees who work in Prince William County don't get the holiday. Here's the OPM guidance: Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017, falls on a Friday. An employee who works in the District of Columbia, Montgomery or Prince George's Counties in Maryland, Arlington or Fairfax Counties in Virginia, or the cities of Alexandria or Fairfax in Virginia, and who is regularly scheduled to perform nonovertime work on Inauguration Day, is entitled to a holiday. (See 5 U.S.C. 6103(c).) |
He was the first African American President. Trump is the 44th White MALE american President see the difference? |
Inauguration Day is NOT a federal holiday in PW County. Only close in counties affected by security and traffic have the day off. |
| It's nice to see PW County living down to it's reputation. |
| Falls Church City is not part of the Inauguration Day shutdown, but FCC schools are closed. |
Yes, and the majority of FCC definitely didn't vote Trump. Doubtful it's a statement of support in either case. |
| Arlington certainly didn't vote for Trump in large numbers, but our schools are closed too. School closures are scheduled well in advance, with no way of knowing who will be the president being sworn in at that time. I'm off work too, which is good, since there is no way I'm coming anywhere near DC that day with all the road closures and craziness. |
