They know exactly who will take the jobs cleaning up the mess in Houston, and it won't be the out of work coal miners. |
DP. This is America. We let lots of people be homeless here - including our own citizens. |
Why would Ryan do this? Because once we give something away for free it is hard to take it back. European countries should reimburse us for Ethiopia-less people for illegal migration. The fact is many people say they support Daca because to do otherwise would be perceived as mean or racist. Reality is we can't have free speech on Daca and illegals. Illegals and TX? The govt needs to find housing but who should get into the found housing? WPA like project using in-employed from a multitude of other areas across the USA. People used to move for jobs. Now? |

Obama has made a mess of things for his successors to clear up: it happened with DACA and ACA
Both were poorly thought out and in the former instance of questionable legality. |
But, I'm pretty sure that if there was a disaster, even homeless people would be given some shelter. |
So are business leaders. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/09/01/hundreds-of-business-leaders-call-on-trump-to-protect-dreamers/?utm_term=.79bf219b92d1 "Among the signatories: business magnate Warren Buffett, fashion designer Diane von Furstenburg, Tim Cook of Apple, Jeff Bezos of Amazon (who owns The Washington Post), Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook, and Meg Whitman of Hewlett-Packard. The companies represent a diverse array of industries, including tech, health care, hospitality, manufacturing and real estate. Marriott International and Starbucks signed. So did General Motors and Crate and Barrel. Multiple polls have shown that about two-thirds of Americans, including Republicans and Trump supporters, favor protecting "dreamers" in some form." |
Both have massive popular support. Trump? Not so much. Good luck taking away DACA, Trump. The optics will be horrible. |
+1 Majority of people want to retain DACA in some form, same with ACA. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/daca-dreamers-americans-opinion-support-trump-a7922851.html https://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/23/obamacare-tops-50-percent-support-for-first-time-new-poll-shows.html |
another executive order that no one voted for. we tried amnesty in the 80's it failed. time to build the wall. |
Why don't you trumpsters fund the wall using go fund my wall or something. There is no money for a stupid wall when electronic surveillance(with drones and satellites) does a much better job for much lower cost. Also you have a major logic fail. Building a wall doesn't do anything to illegal immigrants already here. Besides most of them come on a plane and simply over stayed the VISA. The smarter thing is to just let them be tax paying residents with a SSN rather than non tax paying residents about whom we have no clue about. |
EVERYBODY MUST KNOW THAT IF DACA IS NOT ENDED, MORE ILLEGAL ALIENS WILL COME WITH THEIR KIDS, SO THEY WOULD BE AWARDED WITH A LEGAL STATUS IN U.S. |
The misinformation about DACA has been a significant problem. There's nothing seriously wrong with the program, as it is. But it has been so misrepresented, in the media, in this country, in other countries. That has caused major problems. |
Stop trying to make the wall happen. The wall is not going to happen. |
Your Emperor is gonna con you about ending DACA as he conned you about the wall, about bringing back manufacturing jobs that the machines ate, about labeling China a currency manipulator, about somehow ending foreign labor when he brings in foreign waitresses, about bringing back coal jobs etc etc. Your SHOUTING tells us that you are gonna turn against him sooner than later. |
So let's just train all these kids, give them high school and college educations and then kick them out just as they are ready to make America Great and when we need more young people in the work force. Makes sense. |
