I do think this is very kid-specific. My kids were always great in restaurants (at least, the busy, noisy-ish ones we went to when they were little). They seemed to really like the hustle and bustle of a lively restaurant and would last a pretty long while before getting antsy. I've seen other kids that just couldn't sit still long enough for drinks to be brought out let alone sit through a whole meal.

For kids like mine, a place like Fogo would have been perfect.
