I'm on vacation there now. I like it. But it is full of hicks, you can't get around that.
Florida is now the third largest state by population, surpassing New York.
Obviously these posts about how undesirable it is haven't dented the mass exodus of people from the north to places like Florida and Texas.

When in Florida, I stay away from the SE, Orlando, and the Panhandle.

People- Florida is huge. It is 6 times bigger than Maryland. Is MoCo the same vibe as Annapolis? No. It PG the same vibe as Hagerstown? No.

Now imagine a state that is 6 times bigger than Maryland. Of course different regions will have different vibes. The hicks live in central and north Florida (generally). The bigger cities are very big cities.

Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm, and all the way up the coast-- they each have a different vibe. Gulf coast is completely different. Orland and Tampa, completely different.

If you want to know what Florida is like, you need to ask about a specific city, and even then-- if it is a big city like Miami-- you need to specify which part. Within Miami, there are many different regions with different vibes.

No I am a Floridian who lives in MD most of my whole family is still there.

South Florida yes is diverse however still stupidest place on Earth. Baring Arkansas, MI, MS, MO, Ok, Texas, and any other red state.

They voted in DeSantis and Gaetz. And what happened housing costs climbed, Homeowners and Auto Ins climbed tremenously, taxes are rising like crazy even with the no state income tax, the college system will collapse under him as well, health care LOL gone.

Florida is a wasteland of dumbass morons all over the state from the Panhandle, to Naples to Weston to MIami and back up the east coast.
