What happens if Hillary is found guilty after winning?

So what happens if charges are brought against Hillary after she wins and assuming she's guilty? Can she take office in January and have this play out for the next year or so while President? God help us all if we have to go through this.

Some people feel this is a calculated move by Comey to do just that. Sweep it off the table at a time when the DNC could replace her and bring it back at a time when they could not. If she wins her entire presidency will be this case. If she loses it will be because of this case.

Its freaking messed up and it sucks for our country. And no, I'm not a Hillary supporter.

Guilty of what? At this point Abedin or Weiner will be the fall person. There is no EMAIL from Hillary that went to Weiner. Hillary is not responsible if Huma sends confidential emails to a computer shared with another person without security clearance. But then Huma herself may not directly deal with top secret stuff.

This may at worst be damaging to Hillary and elevate the con man to be president, which is sad and tells a lot about the American naivete.

It won't be that quick.

But, she might be the first female as well as the first spouse of a former president, to assume the office along with adding the distinction of also facing impeachment. Although she might not be as fortunate as Bill when the vote is counted.

Regardless, she won't see a second term.

The ultimate control of a president is via impeachment by the House followed by trial in the Senate. Hillary is ...intimately familiar with this process. It is likely a sitting president could only be brought to "justice" via impeachment. There are sound reasons for this.

I agree about the candidates being bad BUT it is false equivalence TRUMP is like multiple order of terrible, its not a comparison.

NYT Columnist(link below) has explained the Real Dangers of Trump clearly with highly plausible scenarios. Anyone with any ability to analyze will see how insane it is to elect Trump.

Hillary isn't being thrown under the bus. The FBI action won't affect the election in any material way; she is very likely to win handily.
