Just saw the episode where the gringo gets all freaked out at the harsh tactics of the Colombian military. I have a hard time believing that the US agents assisting there had such a difficult time with this. I think the show runners want to reassure us that we are basically good people with a moral compass but I bet that our representatives barely flinched when they watched the excesses of the Colombian government.
That said, I still really like this show! |

It was a little more than harsh tactics! SPOILERS He killed a kid with a point blank blast to the head...and threw people out of a helicopter. I don't think the point was to 'reassure us' that we are the Good Guys. I think Carillo is a sociopath. |

Agree 100%. Anyone who knows the history of the CIA knows that the Colombian government's tactics are par for the course for the kind of thing the CIA perpetrates and supports. No doubt a horde of idiots who know nothing about history will soon be in to reveal their stupidity by contesting 'Murica's atrocities. |
