I've never watched this movie but understand it is a classic, not to be missed.
Would this be appropriate to watch with teen DC's? |

I would. There is reference to rape, but my teens know about rape.

| Its not just "a rape" - its systematic gang rape. Its very nasty. I would not allow my kids as early - mid teens to watch that because I know them enough to know how upset / harrowed they be by seeing it. |

It definetly has gang rape in it, although it is more implied ( I think)
I love that movie. a mature teenager could handle it. My son is only 9, but I could see him obsessing over being falsely accused and put in jail. |

| I didn't think the implied rape was that big of a deal. Sorry. There are other parts of the movie that would be tough. That being said, I'm sure both of my kids saw it by 12. |
