Kaneshow thread two-sentence summary?

I don't want to read the 178 pages that comprise the Kaneshow divorce thread, but it keeps popping up to the top, day after day, week after week, month after month. Can some kind soul offer a super brief summary of what it's all about? What it started as and what it has become? I'm fascinated but don't have a week to read it.

3 or 4 posters who hate the Kane show most especially Danni S. Each day the log on to criticize what they heard on the show or read on DS' Instagram or FB feed. That is it in a nutshell.

I will try to provide an answer that is actually helpful.

July (?) 2015 Kane breaks down on air. Says he came home sometime in May/June and found house empty, safe empty, family pictures taken out of frames, girls gone, Natasha (his wife) gone, dogs gone. Finds bank accounts drained, learned Natasha has been hoarding gift cards for months. At some point thereafter, she comes back to MD (went to FL), he moves out and files for divorce.

After - Natasha refutes everything he says, she never took the girls, she never took the money, etc. Kane comments on some social network 'why would he lie on air where it would be recorded.' Both of them (to this day) clearly do not have a good relationship, she posts irritated things on her blog and instagram, he makes snide remarks on air, etc.

MEANWHILE - Danni randomly comes out and breaks down on air talking about how her husband doesn't love her or have sex with her. Everyone seems awkward about it. Around this time, Danni and John completely stop talking.

Soon after, Danni is separated, then divorced. Becomes TLC host, discusses writing a book, talks about herself ad nauseous. Constantly makes jokes about how amazing divorce is. John continues to ignore her. Kane tries to preside over an increasingly awkward show. Rose kisses Danni's ass.

Fast forward to today, Danni is on a 'hiatus' but is never mentioned. This leads to speculation that she has been fired.

haha thank you! It's the morning drive show on Hot99.5 (top 40) station. I think it's been on since 2006 or so, started out local but now it's being carried other places/on other stations besides DC.

Kane, Danni, Rose, and John (stage name is 'Intern John') are the cast of the show. Danni was married to a DJ named 'Slim', they have two kids...John is younger than Danni and dates a girl named Laura, has done so for 2 (?) years or so and he is obsessed with her. In my personal opinion, although he sometimes comes off as an asshole on the show, he is pretty genuine and is certainly good to her.

John also seems to have a moral compass which conflicts with Danni, who frequently talks about how she is okay with cheating, etc. Kane always tries to smooth things over with 'we love everyone and everything as long as you're happy! yay!' and rose's vocabulary is limited to 'omg i love you danni!' 'omg yay!' 'that's so cool' etc.

1. It was definitely after. I think it was in late August/early September.
2. She was out at the end of last week and has been out this entire week.
3. Since Danni has been out, yes, but I guess he said today that she is coming back tomorrow?

Basically, we're mostly Kaneshow fans that love to discuss it. It's like a living soap opera almost. But we don't have any forum that we can discuss it anonymously, so this website is a blessing. Its really pretty cool to be able to talk about it almost daily now, because before the thread started, if you had an opinion you could only tweet or facebook about it.

Another tip. About every 50 posts someone says Kane's voice sounds funny on the air - like maybe he's slurring his words. I think I know the answer ... I Wonder if he signed up for Invisalign after the break up. Invisalign had that effect on DC.

Thanks for the recap. I am still missing some info. I gleaned from the other posts (IIRC) that he has OCD and ADHD? Why did his wife leave? I always thought she sounded kind of annoying and passive aggressive.

The thread is about how much the show super sucks. Everyone seems to hate Dani, find it befuddling that IJ has a career in radio despite his inability to speak, think Rose is a waste of space, and believe Kane is equal parts narcissist/control freak/fake/addicted to pain killers.

And everyone knows that Roses and the scams are fake...with paid actors from a radio service (this is a fact).
