I'm going to blow your mind. Not only are the posters suggesting that correct, but the 7:37 poster is also the OP of that thread (7:37 is the OP of both threads, in other words).

Both of those threads are long and I haven't read them. But, based on what I just said, is it your opinion that the OP is just trolling and that the threads should be shut down?

my mind is indeed blown. I didn't read the nanny thread. but OP def sock puppeted the GPD thread and nobody suspected! Any other threads she has OP'd??

Np here. Fascinating! My theory is that the nanny forum one is what actually happened, and that op wants to get advice on how to fix it, so set up the second thread so she could bury her real question in the 7:37 post to avoid drawing direct comparison's between the two posts.

I'm very intrigued. And clearly need to get off DCUM.

Omg, my mind is blown, and I'm annoyed that I got drawn into responding. I agree that the nanny post was the real one, and that in the knock off thread she lied about being a psychologist. So that's fun.

That poster has started a large number of threads. I suspect that she is a troll who has been around here for years and who I have called out multiple times. She tends to come up with excuses such as there are many people living in her home and all using the same computer to explain the inconsistent posts.

to answer your Q about the GPD thread Jeff, OP has not been posting to that one as either of her personas in a while. People are now spinning themselves up all on their own. But she is lying in one or the other. Given her lack of response to my defense of her as a professional in the field I assume she is the nanny.

Given that OP has trolled in the past, is it possible to block an IP? Or are IPs not static enough that it would only be temporary?

It is the second case. I have blocked her address in the past but her address either changes on its own or she changes it.
