Re: the search capability, is it possible to search for date as well?

The search feature is really limited on this site. The hits are not organized in any way, and they go back at least 7 years, because I am getting threads from 2008 when I'm searching for cell phone info. Is it possible to upgrade the search so you can order it by date, or look for only recent threads?

You can alter the search now to most recent instead of most relevant. There's a drop down in the bottom right.
