I just do NOT understand why he didn’t block her on his email, or better yet, just get a new email address! I am so annoyed right now.

He did eventually. I’ve seen the tweets from her to him. He closed the account, she moved to a new one (which also has been abandoned).

She also became obsessed with Brexit, the Scottish National Party, and later BRF in 2018. You can tell via her tweets during the time where she is unwell.

Pretty sure there are 1000000 Marthas that post on DCUM regularly.

I think it was really well done but I couldn't watch further after the rape episode. I had no desire to spend any further time with those characters, etc. If it was real life and they were family member or friends I would confront the ugliness and mess and deal with it. But this is a TV show and I watch TV to be entertained, not burdened.

I'm repulsed by Martha but looove her character. Lol, she's taught me all sorts of new vulgar language. I never heard of anal sex being referred to as "taking it up the chufter" before. Lol, had me rollin'

Very sad show, all around. Honestly can’t fathom returning to that monster’s house and then agreeing to work with him. Unreal.

Every few minutes, nonstop on some threads.

New review out about this show and the overly done trend of depressing, dark, lack of color, no joy or happiness content out in series, movies, and new play/musical versions.

More “Society hates life and itself” themes.

I looked it up after, and it definitely seems real. People think they found the stalker using twitter.

I honestly don't know how either actor could have done the rape scene. It was just so, so horribly gruesome.

Hmm. Yikes

I can see why western society is spiraling.

I thought this series had a really strange look and tone. Garish colors, most everyone looking gross, extreme closeuos, dark interiors. The tone was off. I'm not sure how to explain it but it was over the top, kind of cartoonish instead if telling a straight story, which I think would have been more powerful.

Happy aspirational movies and series are few and far in between nowadays. Too much self loathing and politics today.

I read in one review that they chose this tone to be similar to that of a horror film.

Sounds gross

Are there any American shows coming out recently that have these dark, perverse themes? Seems they are all British.

It's not a show, it's a movie, but I saw a lot of similarities with Blonde, which I hated (even though the book it is based on is amazing).
