After taping his show on Thursday ... we know Jimmy did dinner at Upper East side restaurant Scalinatella. He posed for pics with a table full of female fans.

At some point after dinner, Jimmy checked into a NYC hospital. One source says he's getting treatment in ICU.

Blind Gossip seems to indicate there's a little more to this than meets the eye.

I read it this morning then reread it when I saw the news about his hospitalization.

The very bottom reads, "Gosh, when a person is that completely wasted like that, they need to be really careful… or they could wind up injuring themselves."

There are reports that he was out drinking and partying in the hours prior to the accident. And there's on dcum thread on how he's notorious for partying and screwing around with young girls. He's not a saint.

I don't believe it. As PP stated, he is known for after hour fun and games and likely was the subject of a Blind Gossip post that detailed cocaine use.

He has a great PR team.

He said last night he basically pulled his finger off and the doc reattached it. Big risk of amputation. He was in ICU for 10 days!
