This is so unbelievably sad. She was in the middle of a divorce, and there is a history of domestic abuse. I feel sick for those poor kids, wondering out in the street while their mother was inside. I really hope they didn't witness anything. Prayers to the family.

| Considering the hateful husbands posters write about here, this story IS needed for some eyes to open. |
| No one I know watches local news on t.v. That is actually a neighborhood I know, so I am grateful to OP for posting it! |
| So sad. Praying for the children. |
Wow I know that street.
|
Same PP--so very sorry for those poor babies! |
| So glad that a neighbor called 911. |
|
I'm just glad someone didn't assume they were free range kids.
FWIW, Arlnow has named the victim. |
Who was it? Do they know how she died? |
| Omg. My heart breaks for her and her kids. |
I'd rather not publish her name here since it would turn up in a search result. But, she's 43, has two young kids, there was a history of domestic violence. The poor woman also has an active Facebook page with pictures of herself, kids, etc. The whole thing is really sad. |
Awful

Oh, man. The first thing I saw on this this morning, the police spokesman said the father was cooperating and it didn't sound like he was a suspect. Dammit.
2 young kids - such a damn shame. |
| The husband lived around the corner and the police towed away his truck. |

Here's an update of the story.
