S/O- what do your engagement and/or wedding rings look like?

It sounds cheap.

Better than being cheap on the inside, dearie.

Our rings cost less than a dollar apiece. We eloped and didn't have time to get something made, and there are so many things we'd rather do with the money than show other people that we have it.

White gold solitaire engagement ring. Thin white gold band with spaced tiny diamonds.

Not remotely, actually and cost quite a bit more than what I have seen posted thus far, but I do not care about how many carats each stone is or how much it costs. The last time I checked, an engagement ring was not intended to be a price tag on your finger depicting your mate's wealth. Perhaps that is what it means in yours? I'm sorry for your partner or you're just a crabby bitch.

My e-ring was DH's grandma's e-ring: 3 carat emerald cut diamond, D flawless, with tapered baguettes on the sides set in platinum.

My wedding ring is a plain plat band - the original band for the above ring from when it was resized. It has the original inscription from his grandparents.

Both rings will go to our DS.

I don't know you, but very pretty. Love asscher cut and old european round.

They're all very pretty, but how do you do anything with stuff on your hands?

I could only find the men's version of my wedding band. The white gold is much less pronounced on mine. It's very comfortable, and I can do almost anything with it on. Engagement ring only gets worn when I dress up. My husband's band is very similar to mine but no carving, just plain.
