I don’t get it either and have been wondering if I’m not understanding if or something. Even if the delivery fee is 0 isn’t there like a 15 percent service fee and then you need to tip the driver like 15 percent? It makes it so expensive.
I can’t believe how many of my kids’ friends do it whenever. We do it from the one Chinese place with its in house delivery. |
I mean the Chinese place isn’t on doordash but has its own delivery |
This post takes the, uh, cake for most idiotic in a thread full of such posts. |
Restaurants hate those apps, it’s money out of their pockets and they have little enough to spare. We just pickup our takeout. It’s easy. |
I did it once with a newborn. That was it. It's too expensive and unreliable. |
This is such a tired argument. Restaurants aren’t forced to join. |
Never used it and probably never will. Used to get pizza delivery, but now prefer to pickup myself. |
Says the chubby app orderer. |
Me neither, but mostly because there's nothing I want. The few thing I want, I get them myself as I barely work. I also just lately signed up for uber in case I have a few drinks when out and about. |
I can guarantee that it’s not the “delivery” making them Obese. It may be the type of food they eat though….. or could also be about 10 other factors. SMH |
I have never been to Costco or Walmart. |
VERY scientific obesity theory. |
Never used them either. I also don’t have Amazon Prime. |
It is a behavior. Laziness/idleness. Go on out, move around, pick up your own supplies. Mogern living has us sedentary enough as it is. |
