One GOP has chimed in: Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, who appointed one of the fake electors to the Wisconsin State Elections Commission.

“LeMahieu has declined Democrats' request to revoke his appointment of Bob Spindell to the state elections commission.

Spindell was among the Republicans who acted as fake electors for former President Donald Trump in 2020. LeMahieu defended his decision, claiming in a statement that the actions of Spindell and other fake electors were part of a "failed legal strategy" and not an attempt to subvert the election.

He emphasized that he would not rescind Spindell's appointment to the commission.

Notably, Spindell was involved in signing certificates that falsely declared Trump as the winner of Wisconsin, a state that was won by President Joe Biden.”

They had plenty of notice. The state party chair refused to go along. Two of the nominated electors refused to go along and were replaced by alternates. One of the electors who refused was a former Secretary of State. Anybody who knows anything about elections knew it was fraud.

It would not have been fraud if they had succeeded. The difference between insurrection and revolution is success. Or failure.

Trump is very charismatic. He had at least seven attorneys convinced that he would pay them and never make it known they were involved in illegal activities. But I guess no one told Trump that attorneys are always the first to flip and point fingers.

Not hearing a lot of remorse or self reflection, just that he was blamed.

Also, the staffers that flew in those fake ballots should be in jail. I know everyone’s trying to flip low level to get to the big kahuna, but we all know Trump will get off. All the little people who helped him need to be heavily punished or they will just turn around and do it again.
