Did anyone join Equinox in Bethesda?

Is the child care appropriate for younger kids? Anyone tried it with a preschooler or an infant?

The childcare is ok. They don't change diapers so if your kid needs changing, they will page you. It is expensive, $9 for a 2 hour session.

I think the childcare is great! The babysitters are friendly and always know my daughters name and try to make her feel comfortable. My 2 year old loves it and use to HATE being left at the WSC on Bradley and Wisconsin. The babysitting there was so horrific that I had to complain to the manager and demand to be let out of my contract. I don't believe the awful ladies at WSC even spoke to my child. They just sat and talked to each other the whole time. I've belonged to 2 other gyms besides Equinox and neither of those changed diapers either. I'm guessing that probably must be across the board in the industry.

I am an instructor at Equinox! From everything I hear about other instructors at Equinox there are some VERY good instructors! The best thing about Equinox from an instructors perspective is that Equinox is committed to having the best instructors in the area so they offer us free continuing education and every class I have taken has been phenominal! I personally am a Master Instructor with Mad Dogg Athletics as well as Schwinn Certified. For those of you that take spinning my classes are on Sunday mornings at 10:30...right after Robert Sherman's class and I am there on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. You can look me up on the schedule for those times to book a bike online through the Equinox website. I am a rhythm rider!

Depends on your age range. Most of the men I have seen there are 45/55 plus. Not a lot of standouts.
