Why is this a good thing? Because of who her parents are, any sorority she expressed interest in would admit her; it’s not like she is a nobody pledge.

Joining a sorority can very fulfilling. How is that not a good thing for her?

As you said they're not all the same. I partied but it wasn't the only thing we did at my sorority. It's a great opportunity for network and can provide valuable experiences for her.

No I didn't which is why I asked. Your original comment wasn't talking about the downsides of greek life, but it being easier for her get in because of her status. That can be true, but it doesn't take away from it still being a great opportunity she decided to take.

No...it's still an academic advantage as they could still have a pool of textbooks, notes and tetsts. Lots of alumnae are tutors as well and volunteer their time to help. You don't have to like geek life but to deny there's no advantage is wrong.
