Do you like being able to smell when someone very obviously is wearing freshly laundered clothes? It kind of smells like detergent and fabric softener.
Personally, that's one of my favorite smells. |
Yes! |
OP here. Okay, I thought I was the only one because DCUM makes it sound like clothes that smell like detergent is soooo low class. Didn't you know that upper class people only use laundry detergent that smells like nothing? |
Yes and I also love the sound of a dryer going. |
Yes, I do. I also like candles and paper napkins. *GASP*
FWIW, I grew up upper middle class and have an M.A. |
+1. Love Scentsy, Yankee Candle, and plug in room fresheners. |
I would even go so far as to say that when I smell the All on DH's t-shirt at night, it is literally a turn-on. Also, toothpaste. I have a clean-smell fetish apparently! |
lol like how you threw in your creds at the end. |
I didn't know about this upper class/lower class thing, but I have a very sensitive nose, and can barely tolerate clothes that are smelly with laundry detergent. I have to get the "free and clear" version of practically every cleaning product. Yesterday, I had to ask a Chinese restaurant to give me a paper napkin instead of the Tide-scented cloth one! Just can't handle the stink. |
I use unscented laundry detergent, and I only like the way SOME laundry detergents smell, and whatever I have bought, I do not like. I've tried quite a few and decided that unscented was the way to go. I like how clean clothes smell like cotton, but I don't like the artificial smell.
I like other scented things, like cinnamon candles/brooms, certain air fresheners, even. |
Yes. I love how regular Tide smells. Dreft, too. |
+1000!!! |
No but we have to use hypoallergenic because one of the kids has a reaction to many of them. |
I love the smell of Gain. That's what I use. I also love Yankee candles and some of the plug in air fresheners. |
Gain is the best |
