We have allergies and gain works great |
Yes! I also like it when I walk past a house and can smell that laundry smell drifting out from the house. |
+1 |
Just bought those gain scent balls to add to the laundry. Omg I could sniff them all day. |
Smells repulsive. I also hate the smell of your kids when they are over. Overpowering. Learn some subtlety. Yes, it is a class issue. |
Ugh, I think it's absurd when I'm outside and I can't smell anything but the laundry smell coming from a house a block away. I'd rather smell the fresh air. So stupid. |
PP again -- to answer OP's question, I do like the smell of fresh laundry. Our fresh laundry smells like cloth, linen, etc. not overpowering chemical scents. That's the fresh laundry smell I love!! |
Is this normal? |
+2. I love it even more when walking past an apartment building that has multiple washers/dryers going - more loads = more laundry smell. Love love love it! |
YESSSSS! |
I agree that it is classless to be repelled by the smell of clean laundry on children. |
It's not "classless." That would imply that one is disinterested. It is low class. The PP you responded to is hateful. I associate hatefulness with the worst kind of trash. |
That depends on the type of detergent or dryer sheet or whatever. Not every kind smells good. You know, I also like fresh air smell best, who doesn't? But I don't understand why some of you call it low class to use and/or like cleaning products or Yankee candles. I like the smell of Murphy's oil soap after I just cleaned my floors and I like the smell of laundry detergent when my clothes, and especially my sheets and blankets, are freshly washed. |
I wouldn't use all those chemicals on clothes my family wears. Just think it smells like a bunch of chemical exposure. Like, why don't I just spray them with glade in the morning, right in the face instead? |
Clean kids wearing clean clothes is now classless. Got it. |
