Wife is Rude

I am on the telephone last night with my mother when DW comes home from her "evening ride." She always goes out for a "ride" after dinner. Anyway, she marches into the office, where my DD is also sitting, and says can we put whatever your doing on "pause." So, I tell my mother to hold on a second. DW says she won tickets to a conert and starts to go into plans. I said, can we talk about his when I am done with my call. DW storms off and is pouting the rest of the night. DD is saying I could have hung up b/c whatever I was talking about with my mother wasn't "that important." WTF? DW is always so rude. I think she does it on purpose b/c both her parents are dead and she has no one to call. But now DD being rude too?

It sounds like she was excited to win the tickets and wanted to tell you guys about it. Sure it was rude but it was at home and it's not like you were on a work call. Your wife should come before your mother. Also the way you stated her parents are dead so she has no one to call makes you sound like an ass. She was excited about something and you shot her down.

OP, next time you post, try posting substituting "DH" for "DW" and see what kind of responses you get. I'm baffled as to the overwhelmingly negative responses you usually get to your (recognizable) posts since your DW and DD do sound horrible. (I am always the one posting in your defense.) I wonder why your posts bring out the meanness and sadism of some people here on DCUM. It really bothers me.
