| What other PG movies have you let your child see? I have no idea about Maleficent but this is very subjective and should be based on your child's maturity, your comfort level, and their previous experience with live-action movies. |

This for my 7 year old. Before I get flamed for my kid being too sensitive, his brother would have been fine with 'darker' movies at age 7. Different kids react differently. |

My 8-year old has seen an ad for it and said "We're not seeing that one Mom!" Too scary for him, but every kid is different.
