Keep the jokes coming but STA cares about sports and more importantly their alumni and donors do also. Coaching is already being reevaluated.

Already being reevaluated? Heeter was just hired as a full time employee in the last two years.

Honestly like the attitude. STA has legit athletic alumni. I believe it that they do care.

STA music program Mom wins conference MVP. Landon Mom who didn’t know hard hits were apart of good defense wins runner-up.

Was the SSAS JV any good? Or are they getting some strong public schoolers? Or is next year ANOTHER rebuilding effort too?

They were okay outside of the IAC but 5th in it. They have a problem with numbers too and could barely field both a jv and varsity team for the season ending tournament because players can only play on one roster.

He has been the head coach for five years now. Not sure what you are referring to with the full time employee comment.

IAC Championship will be a showdown this after between Landon and Georgetown Prep. Game time is 5 PM at Landon.

Despite Landon winning the previous meeting in a rather non-competitive game, expect this game to be much closer.

Prep seems to be playing their best ball of the season right now having taken it to Bullis twice in the past 2 weeks.

The storyline will be if the Lil Hoyas can contain the Bear's potent offense. Prep is stacked at the defensive end with several D1 commits but will it be enough to disrupt the Bear's offensive weapons? Having seen Landon play a few times this year, they can score in several different ways whether it be in transition or settled O.

A few observations:

Face-off X is about even.

Goalie play Landon has the edge.

Close Defense, Prep is better.

Settled Offense, Landon is better

Expect a close first half as both teams will be playing with nerves. Clearing will be critical in this game. I do think Landon has more depth and should start to pull away late in the 3rd / early 4th.

Prediction: Bears 10, Lil Hoyas 8

Good luck to both teams and hopefully the rain holds off!

He went from being an off campus coach who worked full time with Next Level to having a full time job on campus in the Athletic Dept.

Bullis will fade after the 2025 class graduates.

Anzelon (a former board member) has kept the program alfloat with pushing DCE kids to Falls Road.

Once his son graduates, I doubt he will stay super connected to the program.
