Prep graduated 21 senior varsity players, which will definitely impact their team. However, people forget how much depth they have and how many underclassman played significant roles this past year. They return a starting attackman who is committed to Georgetown, a starting LSM who is headed to Notre Dame, a starting defenseman who is headed to Villanova, a starting midfielder who is headed to Johns Hopkins, a starting fogo, a starting ‘25 defenseman who will be highly recruited by top D1 programs cone September, and many other players, committed and uncommitted. Prep won’t be as good as they were this year, but they will likely contend for the championship. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Prep vs Landon in the championship game again.

IAC will be more competitive next year. Prep and Landon will battle for 1-2. I think their rosters are about even. Bullis and Epsicopal will battle for 3-4, pending transfers. St. Albans and SSSAS about even for 5-6.

Don't disagree that GP and Landon will most likely be the top IAC contenders next Spring.

Prep graduated a ton of firepower on offense, but losing Kabari and Burns, arguably the best HS attack tandem in the country will be hard to come by. The younger Horning player is a solid attackman but life will be much harder next year drawing the top defenseman.

Landon on the other end, lost two very strong defenders however brings back their entire offense and Kevin Miller returns from ACL injury - bearing no setback. Landon's best player last year was the 2024 LSM who is uncommitted.

The wildcard will be the HS transfer portal(sadly ) ... is the Bullis attackman jumping ship? If he joins the Lil Hoyas roster, I'd give GP a slight edge over the Bears next spring.

There’s a difference between recruiting and poaching.

Kabari and Burns were the best two offensive players in the league last year

From the games I saw #7 at Prep '24 (lefty attackmen, committed to Georgetown) was a crucial part of the attack as well.

He's very good and a crucial component, but imo, the part that made Prep so strong was that all three of their attackman are so good. #7 will have a very good season next year and will be an important part for Prep but losing the other great components on their attackline (Kabiri and Burns) will make the job much harder for Prep.

Let's be serious. He is a good player but he is far from Burns or Kabari.

To be honest, I think his old brother was very underrated middie for the Lil Hoyas this Spring.

Another quick question...will he be eligible to play. His b-day is 11/2004 according to IL, which means he'll be 19 by the time the season starts. If #7 can't return, that is a big problem for the Hoyas

#7 is an amazing player and teammate that anyone would want on their team. His older brother #15 was even more impressive and, I agree, totally underrated this year. He was one of Prep’s top scorers and offensive threats this season. Georgetown University is lucky to get them both.

Will he be turning 19 or 20 as a senior in HS?

Turning 19 in November of your senior year is old as hell.

Saw SJC HC today at Millon’s National Showcase. He is a tenacious recruiter if nothing else.
