I find it hard to quickly find info on this site because many of the topics only apply to areas that are too far. Would anyone else like to see Jeff split this forum into geographic areas (ie separate Va/Md/DC or combine the two smaller and separate from the larger)? I know that people close to the borders do cross, but for those of us who are further out, it would really help. Just a thought - not sure if it is feasible.
Thanks! |
Yes. For now it would be great if future postings include geographic areas in the subject line. |
Yes, please separate. |
I think it would be helpful to separate out the classes/workshops from camps. I really don't want camp information but this is what dominates. Although, I believe that they used to be separate and then combined by request. |
This forum has very little activity on it anyway. I don't think we need to split it, but mentioning location in the subject line would be a good idea. |
Yes. Like the split idea. would probably help this forum get more usage. Right now it is too much work to find anything relevant for my neighborhood. |
I agree - more people would visit this forum and then reply if it was more specific to their geographical area. |
Here's a vote for no. Lots of us cross lines across the DMV daily, whether for work or for school or for other reasons. This isn't such a hugely busy forum that it really necessitates breaking it down into multiple smaller forums. If you live in Bethesda or Arlington, are you saying that you really aren't at all interested in classes or camps in parts of DC or vice versa?
Generally, people can always do a better job with their subject lines, but I don't think that's a reason to really split this up. |
Another vote for no.
This is not a busy forum. I am open to seeing camps all over DMV. |
