Another one: What happened to Hugh Grant

This guy was going to be the biggest British actor in America. Actually I think Colin Firth is a bigger name now.

I think that "scandal" with the prostitute hurt his career some. And, also he was to some degree type-cast in romantic comedies.

I think he has a very likable screen presence and enjoyed his bad-boy character in Bridget Jones. But I do wonder if he might have a limited range. I don't know that he's a character actor like Firth.

I think he'll keep showing up in movies from time to time.

Well, he's in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. coming out in 2015. And "The Rewrite" this year.

I hate Colin Firth. I think he's so ugly - I simply am distracted by his bad looks too much to look at his acting.

While I'm not attracted to Hugh Grant, I can totally enjoy watching Notting Hill or that sappy music movie he did with Drew Barrymore.

He's been busy having babies.

I'm speechless. To each her own, I guess, but I could not disagree more.

I liked him in Love Actually The scene where he sings carols for the little girls while they dance is probably my favorite one in the movie.

His last film was with Tom Hanks and Halle Barry. Seems like it wasn't meant to be a second rate project, even if it only grossed about $150M or so.

Anyone see Mickey Blue Eyes? I fell in love with HG for that corny tripe...

He's not the most prolific actor but he certainly makes appearances in films on a semi-regular basis.

I don't think he's the most amazing actor ever, but does have a likeable air.

And Colin Firth is hot in an older, smoldering, sexy-accent kind of way.

Colin Firth is too dour for my taste. Some may like that reserved, distant thing, but I don't get it.

I have been watching a lot of Importance of Being Earnest - came out in 2000 or so? I love him in that one.

One of my friends ended up sitting next to him in a restaurant in London. I have no idea how she didn't fangirl all over him. I like to think I could play it cool, but I'm pretty sure I'd swoon and ask him to do lines from P&P. "Look, I'm fat like Bridget and you loved her just the way she is…right?"

I still like Hugh Grant, but I probably wouldn't humiliate myself.

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm a total sucker for an upper crust accent and a stiff … upper lip.
