I have no idea who she is, but it is always sad to hear about a life cut short very early. Sounds like it was probably a drug overdose and it is a shame that these are so common.

Very sad for her 1 and 2 year-olds. They won't ever remember their mother (well, maybe the 2 yo, but I sure don't have many memories before that age).

She's the daughter of Bob Geldolf (Boom Town Rats and Live Aid in the 80's. He's been through quite a bit. Sorry for the kids left motherless.

His statement is heartbreaking. That poor family has been through so much.

She has had more than her share of her own issues, including lots of drugs, but she looked like she was healthy of late and enjoying motherhood.

So very sad for her kids.

Her mom was paula Yates who was with Michael Hutchence.

Yes. Yates left Geldolf for him and took the kids with her. After Yates and Hutchence OD'd, the kids returned to Geldolf and he adopted Yates and Hutchence's daughter so she could stay with her sisters.

The whole thing is so godawful. That poor girl. Her poor sisters.

So sad to hear, those tributes from her husband and father have me in tears. I saw her on a lot of the celebrity mom websites. She was so young.

The thing is, the same day she posted that photo, she also posted a ton of other things too, including how excited she was about some cute outfits she just bought for her baby for summer. So it's certainly possible, but seems less likely when you look at the bigger picture.
