Spoilers!
So the mother was nothing more than a plot point to get Ted with Robin? Argh! WEAK. |
I am still confused... |
I'm not sure how I feel about that
Ps you should have put spoilers in the subject line! |
What are you confused about? |
I mostly hated it. |
Sorry! Thought the word plus two hard returns would help. |
-SPOILERS- I am confused about --why I spend 7 years wondering about the mother --why all these signs like yellow umbrella mean he is ultimately going to be with Robin --why a couple of kids would be so blase about a story about their mother who passed away, and be so eager to set him up with someone new |
I never watched the show but I am still curious about who the mom is and how it ended. Can someone explain? |
To the kids, they did say it had been six years since the mom died, but I cannot believe I watched this for almost a freaking decade (granted, not so much in the last few seasons...). |
Well, their mom had been dead 6 years. Their father probably told stories all the time. And I think that they filmed those kids during the first season before they knew how far this show would get into all the signs and stuff . |
I'm with PP and never watched the show but somehow still curious. So the "mother" was never actually a part of the show? What's the deal? |
Hated, hated, hated it! Agree with other PPs - totally unnecessary and bizarre. I almost have up on this show so many times in the last few seasons and now I'm mad that I stuck it out. |
The only part they got right was flashing forward to show future development and closure.
I wish Friends and Seinfeld had flashed forward a decade or so. Nice closure. |
I want to know too. Can someone do a 3-4 sentence summary of the series? |
I liked the part where Barney met his daughter. |
