WCAC and IAC league champions should agree to play one extra game to determine DMV bragging rights.

I know Prep extended the olive branch last spring to SJC but it was declined…

Prep only wants to play in June.

Landon would have a problem this year as well. 270 will be under construction soon and all their talent would not be able to get to the DMV to play with it shut down.

What does this mean? Talent/270?

WCAC championship still to be played. GZ will most likely win in the rematch.

Gonzaga looked awful yesterday (minus the first quarter). Even in the first quarter, the Eagles committed 3 un-forced turnovers.

Not sure what is going on down at Eye Street as they have a pretty loaded 2024 class.

Everyone was projecting this would be Gonzaga's year to bring home a WCAC banner.

After yesterday's performance, I'm not even convinced they will make it to the WCAC finals. I didn't see any positive take aways from the contest.

As for the WCAC playoffs, where can one find a bracket / playoff seedings?

Thanks

7 goals is a lot to reverse.

Them candy ass boys on Eye street thought shit was sweet yesterday, well once you walked down military road you played a real team and found out how lacrosse is played. Hopefully the cadets get to kill the Eagles again come WCAC playoff.

Another troll here, boys on Eye street will get it back in blood in WCAC playoffs. Regular season means nothing, typical SJC parent thinking that’s all that matters.

I hear that after the game the Gonzaga boys sent their butlers to St. John’s to give them a good thrashing. If it wasn’t for the St. John’s dressage team it would have been a bloodbath. Tally ho!

Landon played a softer schedule and their biggest win - Highland Park, TX - stumbled down stretch. Still plenty of lacrosse to be played. SJC has advantage if they win out, but they also face stiffer competition to win WCAC title. Landon should coast to IAC crown and celebrate it. Great season for the Bears!

Taft is not having the type of season they historically have - brand new coaching staff. Give them another 2 years and I'm sure they will be back to the national powerhouse they always are.

The Cadet's best win this Spring might be yesterday's Gonzaga game or maybe the Taft Game. SJC has some bad L's though... Losing to Culver by 12+ is embarrassing (I do think if the Cadets were to play Culver again it would be a much closer game as SJC has improved a ton since March)

Landon's best win this Spring is likely GP or GZ and has a quality win over Bullis and Highland Park Texas. I suspect Landon will play GP again in the IAC Finals. Landon has two L's this year (both coming in Overtime to St Pauls and Haverford )

The Bears and the Cadets have two common opponents this season: DeMatha and GZ. Comparative scores are below.

Landon: 13 (Bears led 9-0 at halftime)
DeMatha: 9

SJC: 9 (Overtime)
DeMatha: 8

Landon: 11 (Overtime... Landon was down 6-0 in the first half)
GZ: 10

SJC: 12 (Cadets dominated the entire 2nd half and had a 5-goal comfortable margin for most of game)
GZ: 5

Been saying this for years.... the IAC champion and WCAC champions should add one extra game to the season for official DMV bragging rights. It's the only way to solve these hypothetical debates.

As for the IAC playoffs... I wouldn't rule out Prep from making a run and up-setting league favorite, Landon. As for the WCAC post-season, SJC proved they are still the "Kings" of the WCAC however I wouldn't sleep on DeMatha and Gonzaga has the talent to beat anyone.

Due to the WCAC giving out lacrosse scholarships, I have to think their talent level is higher than Landon's. It's analogous to a 12-2 Alabama team being better than a 15-0 South Dakota State.

SJC is #1 unless they lose the rematch.
