Is this for real? Lol!

Commissions are charity case now. LOL

We don't need 95% of the agents in this industry but they make each other lives difficult by increasing competition. Very soon, commission would be 1% which is what it is in rest of the developed countries.

Of course, why not? It’s the same amount of work on their end.

In some countries like the UK, there is a menu of services to choose from. The 440k condo buyer may choose just listing and handle the rest themselves. The person selling a $2.5 million home may add showing and professional photos and staging.

This. A higher end house may require more services: pictures, staging, glossy flyers, etc. So, a more expensive house will typically result in a higher payment to the listing agent.

"Pay it forward"??! That's the best argument they can come up with? What a joke of an industry. So glad, their scam is finally busted.

HAHAH. Yep. You can tell she can’t make her payments on her second Audi or BMW now, so she’s literally begging her clients to give her more money as a charity case.

When you really can't support your utility or value to a transaction: just pay it forward!

NP. Pay extra today because you were ripped off by the real estate cartel in the past?

Hahahaha, no.

That's being charitable ...

“I’m a real estate agent. Our industry violates antitrust law to your expense and my benefit. Because the recent settlement prevents me from benefiting from a particular cartel scheme, you will compensate me with what I would have earned when I was violating the law. Why? Because I have nothing but contempt for the consumers of my industry. Deal with it.”

It definitely won’t be as good for agents, we know that.

The funniest part to me will always be the capitalized R.

I noticed that too but thought it was just a typo. If it was deliberate then it’s funny.

No that's the branding. It's a registered trademark, to the extent that I have often seen it with the circled C copyright mark after the word in ads. They all do it with that word because of the brand
