Anti-war crime does not equal anti-Semitic

Anonymous
The US is aiding and abetting the Israeli right-wing government's wholesale destruction of Gaza and slaughter
- with bombs and starvation - of Palestinians, after keeping them in economically unviable ghettos for decades. (Can anyone realistically wonder why they hate us?)
The kids are waking up...
Criticizing the Israeli government and the twisted concept of Zionism does not make one anti-semitic.
I'm not defending Hamas' abhorrent actions in October.
I also find it abhorrent that justified frustration and anger about what's been happening in Gaza has manifested itself in acts of intimidation towards Jews. That is to be unequivocally condemned.
But just like back in the '60's and Vietnam, the kids are waking up and saying: this has got to stop, and an equitable solution found.

Speaking of Ben Gvir, guess what he's been up to? He's currently in the hospital because he caused a car crash after running a red light and wasn't wearing his seat belt.

But what do Israeli laws say? Women can inherit. Women can be guardians of their kids. Golda Meir was PM. Now look as Gaza laws…. There is no equivalence no matter how hard you try…. I mean Ted Kennedy left Mary Jo to die - I would say even with that America is good.

And? Finish the sentence. These people, so inferior to us, are okay to kill? Finish the sentence.

Yup, this “othering” was used by Hitler and now 80 years later we have come full circle. Palestinians are “less than” and in the minds of Zionists this justifies all the brutality and killings.

And the morally better should win. Gazans and radical Islam are less than… power is a zero sum game. Would rather have judeo-Christians with a larger piece any day. Humanity would be better for it. Especially women.

Why preserve either? According to the logic you espouse, why not simply wipe them both out?

Because power is a zero sum game. Duh. Who/what should/can occupy the space?

Who has to occupy what can made into a superfund site? People (presumably those who share your misanthropic views) have asked the question before, why not reduce that entire desert to a parking lot?

Because Israel is better. By a million miles.

They aren’t better. Most of the violence in the past 80 years has been from Israelis and I’m not meaning the army either . But civilians like settlers. They just don’t care when Palestinians die . It would be better if they openly said it. They all want genocide. Hitler would be proud his ethnic cleansing and superiority logic rubbed off

It’s completely hypocritical for Israel to regurgitate Hitler talking points about superiority and wanting ethnic cleansing or to drive certain people to the sea or to neighboring countries but it does make all these points without realizing the hypocrisy.

Israel proved it wasn’t better when Rabin died just for simply acknowledging a Two state solution . Mind you Israel wasnt losing anything land wise by saying this.

Palestinians were but despite the predictions , Arafat , Abbas, and Hamas leaders were never assassinated for saying they wanted a two state solution. If Bibi said this tomorrow, there would be death threats from Israelis before sundown. Just tells you who the bad faith actors really are. Palestinians have lost everything and even in the deal Israelis lie and talk about from 2000, they still wanted their settlements to remain in the West Bank. What kinda two state solution is that if Israel keeps the ports in Gaza and settlements in the West Bank? They hoped Palestinians were dumb enough to take that deal but they didn’t and blame them for not taking a bullshit deal that was never a real two state solution in the first place. As long as Bibi is in government there, he vowed no such thing would ever exist so long as he has any say and he made sure to threaten Clinton with Lewinsky wiretaps to make sure he didn’t try to push for a real two state solution that would benefit Palestinians as well. Why do three Democrat Presidents and the last Republican all hate Bibi?

Gazans never had a nation-state. They were to live in Jordan. But then they started a war with Israel - that they lost. Why would anyone support another Islamic - sharia nation-state? Especially after 9/11 / Bali / USS Cole? Israel would never fly planes into buildings - that is why the US supports them.

however I do think people are crossing a line into anti semitism now. It's really hard to tell where 'the line' is... for example, we live in nyc and spend time in dutchess county and a local businessman posted this. It feels like a lot of the rhetoric is just getting really extreme...

That's not anti-Semitic. It's entirely focused on the policies of the country and government of Israel. It's a bit intense and all encompassing but the situation is pretty messed up. People are fed up and want the whole Israel-Palestine blood feud thing to end.

you dont think 'f balfour, f zionism' might be construed as such, seeing as zionism is in part the belief that israel should exist at all?

The problem is not that Israel exists but that others had to be forcibly removed for it to exist, and it would’ve been nice to get that acknowledged once in a while instead the countless stories like “we made the desert bloom”.

What’s the point? Are we asking England, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium etc to do the same? This is as useful as Chicago calling for a ceasefire. It’s all leftism feel good do nothing.

Wow. He seems completely stable and not at all viciously angry. Funny how he doesn't acknowledge Hamas using its own people as human shields. There's a lot he seems ignorant of, but he sure is parroting propaganda like a good Hamas supporter.

Making mental note to never, ever visit his restaurant.

He seems enraged. That's the appropriate human sentiment when one experiences 10 plus innocent family members slaughtered, including babies.

But you still can't point to anything antisemitic in his post.

All expelled from their colonies around the globe. Here is a hint for you, extreme brutality is a sign of end stage for the colonizer.

That’s for the victim to say, not you.

And Germany in fact did do the same. And keeps doing it!

Palestinians were and are a nation. Lack of a unitary government does not negate this.

Also, they were not meant to live in Jordan at all. British promised the same territory to two separate groups, and that is the problem. Maybe you wished they were pushed into Jordan, but Jordan is ruled by Hashemites, and they come from Mecca so they are not Palestinian.

You should question the people who gave you these simple answers to the political problems of Israel and Palestine. Palestinians and Jews both have historical legitimacy as far as the territory is concerned, and feeble attempts to undermine the claims of one or the other are usually the sign of partisans.

No. Balfour was a British Lord who promised one group a piece of land that had already been promised to another while at the same time another British Lord secretly promised to give it to neither. Combined they created a hell of a mess.

Zionism is a political philsophy that holds, in part, that there needs to be a non-pluralistic society for Jews because they cannot integrate with anyone. Political philosphies are always fair game for criticism.
