Anti-war crime does not equal anti-Semitic

There is never a justification for war crimes. Never. Anyone defending them should really reflect on how they differentiate themselves from Nazis. War has rules for a reason. Israel is currently disregarding them.

Nope. Hamas is awful. We should not support them. But Israel is a recognized state that is committing war crimes. I’m not decrying the war, I’m decrying the way in which it is being fought. There is no justification.

That is not to say the Jewish people shouldn't exist, but I don't really see why they are entitled to take a country that wasn't theirs and hold it through extreme violence and oppression of the native people.

Give them their country back. One state. Everyone eligible for citizenship. No more apartheid. If you don't like it or don't feel safe, go home to your actual country.

First: Most Jews in Israel have, at best, questionable biological connection to the region, and to anyone who ever lived in the confines of what now constitutes the State of Israel. The average Palestinian has MUCH more of a claim to that land.

The other has to do with the justification for actions within war. This thread is not about whether war is justified. It is about how Israel is breaking international rules about how to conduct war.

Just curious, do you pro-Israeli posters feel like the response is proportional? You are upset because of 10/7, but the response since then has been many times over worse, but that is okay? Aren’t you just as bad as Hamas then? Do you really not see it? Do you really believe that killing and starving an entire population will lead to peace? Don’t the Palestinians have a right to govern themselves in their own homeland? You want them to live as second class citizens for eternity? What’s your end game? Not true. None of the protestors are calling for an end to Israel. They are calling for the restoration of Palestinian rights, the end to genocide, and a free Palestine.
