Isn't taking the kids out of state considered kidnapping? |
The fact that she hadn't paid the bills for months shows that this wasn't an impulsive, spur of the moment decision. She had also bought 100 dollar gift cards so that he wouldn't know what she was doing. This was very well planned. We don't know why she did it. She might have a very good reason, but it definately wasn't unplanned. |
When I did listen way back when, if my memory serves me, her family didn't like Kane from the beginning. I wonder if they are involved in all of this. |
I thought they lived in Florida. |
why pay bills if you're planning an escape? |
I was referring to his decision |
They have lived in Montgomery County for a long time, but one of the affiliates the show is on is in Tampa. |
At least one member of the family was. Apparently one of them flew up from Florida and stayed in a hotel and helped her leave. |
They dated for a long time and broke up countless times during that. There's a lesson to be learned somewhere in here. From the way she left, it sounds like what a battered woman does. Plan for months, squirrel away as much money as possible, take the kids while the man is away. I hope there was no domestic violence involved. |
So, I came in late to the show like some others above. If I understand correctly, from the bits and pieces listed here and what I heard: Kane came home one day last month and Natasha & the kids were gone. She had drained his bank accounts and neglected their household financial obligations. She has fibromyalgia and he has OCD/ADHD. As a result of her abandonment, he has filed for divorce...again, some time last month. But today was the first time he spoke of it on air?
I was near tears listening to him and his heartbreak. |
I've only got bits and when I tuned in they were mid conversation at that point but I agree with you. I think everything he said is true as well. And I see some people are saying there are 2 sides to every story but there is no explanation for not paying the bills for months and draining all his accounts that is reasonably explainable. |
Anyone know if there's a replay? I missed it - sounds awful |
I believe (and there are probably exceptions to this) that in MD, you can't file for divorce with kids until 1 year has passed.
|
If they opt to, it would be on iTunes later today via podcast. |
She's been doing this for years (the gift card hoarding) because Kane mentioned it on the air a few years ago. So, if what you think that's the case, she's been planning this escape since possibly even before the 2nd child was even conceived... If that's the case, then why bring another child into the mix? |
