I love the talkers here. Go through Ranger or Seal training and get back to me on the mere mortal part.

Have some respect for those that respect you enough to put their lives on the line.

I do have respect. It does nit mean they have carte blanche to act in whichever way they choose. They make their careers and reputations on the taxpayer dome and they have a responsibility as a result to uphold our highest values, not the lowest common denominator.

I don't think that Luttrel saying that he doesn't think the TCS will treat Kyle's killer so well is acting like the lowest common denominator. If you do, I think you have some living to do.

You mention the taxpayer's dime? Then I assume you don't support illegals taking the taxpayer's dime either, so you are against amnesty, right? And you're against any politician breaking the law because they get paid on the taxpayer dime as well. So this amnesty executive order is out as well. After all, Obama himself said about 20 times that it was illegal.

Or would you like to consider splitting hairs?

You have very poor logic and reasoning skills. Bottom line is Luttrell - and other military members/veterans who commented on his post - were suggesting and supporting the idea that guards should beat and rape Routh in prison. That is revolting on its face and disturbing that someone who wears the uniform of the country would spout such ideas. If you think vigilante justice in the firm of rape is an appropriate expression of American values you are just as bad, and no amount of red herrings will change that.
