Am I being a birthday brat?

I'm not a fan of making a big fuss about adult birthdays in general, but this isn't really about birthdays.

He specifically said he was going to do something for you, then he didn't do it. Twice, actually, if you count both planning the day and the gift.

Taking credit for Mom's card is kind of skeevy, too.

My DH is fairly clueless about holidays, but it's totally fine. I long ago decided this wasn't something I was going to sweat in an otherwise great marriage. But when DH tells me he's going to do something, holiday or otherwise, he does it (or he has a good reason for not doing it.)

To me that's 100 times more important than the birthday itself.
