...I think you have too much time on your hands. |
How would she know that? |
A man can love bomb and be very loving, charismatic, attentive, generous, etc. long enough to snare a woman they want, and then in time their true nature will emerge and along with that possibly a low interest in sex that was not apparent at first. I think KH was victim of that scenario.
Also, I think he has mostly let her go, along with Suri, and paid her a lot partly to raise his child but also I think she knows stuff and agreed not to reveal it which was worth a lot to him. |
+1 Women need to think smart. |
It seems like a weird thing for him to ask for and for her to agree to, especially since she seemingly had the upper hand, but I guess it seemed trivial to her and more important to get free and get sufficient financial support to raise her child safely. |
Watch the Scientologist find this and load it w pro Tom comments. There is a whole sea of them that troll boards to squash any negative comments about Scientology. |
He's a very strange human. Have interacted with him a few times.
He can definitely present as normal but heMs always calculating. Katie outwitted him. It's why he's never bothered to remarry...not worth the risk. |
I recall her called her "Kate"...it was charming, but also gave me pause because her name was and is "Katie". It was as if he was trying to erase her identity or something. |
I saw an interview many many years ago where he said he had a learning disorder (maybe dyslexia?) and had really struggled and he credited Scientology with helping him overcome that. I think he did really struggle in a lot of hidden ways as a young actor — so many of that group were abusing drugs and he probably was hiding depression. And then Scientology came along with a solution for him and I think he went all in in a way that people with very intense addictive personalities do. The reports of the way he is on set — extremely intense, super serious about things like stunts, etc. is consistent with this. He’s a person who has trouble with moderation. I’m sure he was crazy exciting to date and also an utter nightmare to be married to. |
Despite his fame he is an insecure little man who is a member of a cult. That's why he'd care. |
I think he'd care because he doesn't want to seem like a failure at ANYTHING. And that relationship imploded. |
She even reminded people what Tom's behavior is all about when Top Gun 2 came out. I haven't seen it because Tom Cruise makes my skin crawl with his weirdness. |
What’s it about? I don’t follow him closely, but do enjoy his films. I’m very basic. I’ll admit it. I do pick up that he is …. Off somehow. I was watching an old clip of him with Oprah watching a concert. I can’t even recall who was performing, but it was something most people would enjoy. You could tell Tom was acting like he enjoyed it, but I don’t think he felt anything. Not really. |
Again, he is on the spectrum. He is also confirmed dyslexic, maybe has attention dysregulation (because 80% of the people on the autism spectrum have ADHD and comorbid learning disorders). The hyperfocus that comes with such profiles has helped him in his career. He is obsessed with his appearance, fitness and stunts, which doesn't help him with relationships (romantic or otherwise) but does help him be the highly successful actor he is. Notice he always picks the same roles. He knows what he's good at, and doesn't deviate. This is obvious to people who are psychologists or who are scientists who study autism. There are many quirky and hard-to-live-with successful people who have autism and high IQs. Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, the late Steve Jobs... Their drive, obsessions and fixations that stem from their atypical brains help them achieve great things, and their inability to empathize much or put themselves in other people's shoes make family life rather challenging. It's interesting that Mark's wife, Priscilla, has done so well with him. I think she's highly intelligent herself and has learned how to deal with the neurodivergence. Elon's wives couldn't deal with him, and Steve was famously unpleasant. I have no insider knowledge of Scientology, but honestly, Tom Cruise's life can be explained by his neurodivergent personality. You don't need to go imagining blackmail from cultish organizations. |
I don't think he is neurodivergent. At all. |
