Florida abortion issue about to blow up

You are the scary one. This is female slavery.

This is further proof of the inhumanity and total disregard for human life that accompanies this issue. Slaves from America’s past were sold into slavery and forced to leave their homes on inhumane slave ships. If they died during the voyage (or were killed) they were unceremoniously dumped over the side of the ship and consumed by sea creatures. Once in America they were sold at public auction and could and would be sold at the will of their slave owning masters and separated from their own families as punishment.

Women can get birth control. Men can get birth control. Slavery is not the same as being alive and having the ability to become pregnant or contribute to a pregnancy.

Comparing this issue to slavery further proves we are dystopian and sliding down the path of inhumanity and oppression as we vote on who lives and who dies. After we pick up our starbucks, ofc.

Birth control isn’t 100% effective and doesn’t address the problem of wanted pregnancies which go terribly awry and threaten the health and life of the mother. States are forcing mothers to continue those pregnancies disregarding their lives, their health and their future fertility.

You’re not killing another life if it cannot live outside of a woman’s body. It isn’t a life yet.

Women will be voting for the right to control their own bodies.

As we have seen already already in red states, that drives voters to the polls.

Women’s bodies can be controlled by birth control too. Abortion is not the only way women can control their bodies. Men can use condoms or get vasectomies to control their bodies and prevent their bodies from getting women pregnant.

Both men and women can prevent pregnancy by using birth control. Their unborn babies bodies will be killed during the abortion; that’s who is killed during abortion. Voting on who can be killed because adult men and women don’t control their bodies is scary to me. I don’t think other humans should die because adults don’t take precautions.

I’m so tired of wide zealots. I’m sorry you have a hard time controlling other people. You’re just going to learn how to live with disappointment. .

I also don’t want any more women to die because they don’t have access to this healthcare.

Pregnancy is not a disease or injury and abortion is not healthcare. Healthcare doesn’t result in the death of a healthy human being.

Go read some stories of women who have had to get late-term abortions. You'll see a common thread: They fully intended to have babies until their doctors told them it was not feasible. Their procedures absolutely were healthcare - and the fetuses they carried were not healthy.

If you don't want to have an abortion, don't have one.

You don't have the right to tell anyone else that they can't have one.

They can’t be reasoned with. Let’s just hope they don’t get all Christian militant and nutty when abortion is fully legal in Florida because of the ballot initiative. They need to understand they are not in control. This is a democracy.

It is pointless arguing with the zealot. Facts and reason won’t sway them.

Are you all daft? Voting is exactly the way Americans determine if women can or can’t have abortions.

It’s disgusting to allow humans to live or die by voting.

Tell the Supreme Court, who left the decision up to “the people and their representatives.” I’d rather just leave it up to a doctor myself.

You want doctors to be allowed to decide when a healthy human being lives or dies? Are you really sure about that?

Ah yes, zealots who believe that human lives aren’t up to a vote.

I’m sorry, dude. We don’t agree. What we can agree upon is that non-viable fetuses, babies a product of rape, ectopic pregnancies or other instances where a woman’s life is in danger, they should be allowed to abort, right?

Most women seem fine with it, stop pretending men are the violent killers when you kill your healthy baby for convenience.

It is so gross and stupid that you won't open your eyes to how forced childbirth enslaves women.

Countries where abortion is restricted eventually fall apart. Look at Poland now.

You are simply not going to be able to succeed in your quest to force women to give birth against their will. It is not your place

Well they are much more qualified than you.

This issue is intractable. Sorry fundies, learn to live with being in the minority. This ballot is going to pass and you know it. What you do after is what I am concerned about based on some of the things “your side” has done to abortion clinics.

Here’s the run down. The abortion initiative passes. You are upset. You can picket and complain all you want, but just leave all the normies alone and accept defeat, okay?
