Trump put it on the ballot when he stacked SCOTUS. And Republicans have lived with the electoral consequences ever since (and will again this Fall). |
At the end of the day, this won’t hurt Biden. It may help him (and who know how much) but it won’t hurt him. This is good. |
Then don't have an abortion. The GOP is curtailing it out of religious zealotry. That belies the separation of church and state. The GOP is also on the path to curtailing birth control. It won't end until women are totally subjugated again. |
A fetus isn't a baby. What is your solution for women who want a baby, are carrying a baby and then there is a complication and they need to abort the baby or die themselves? |
Trump only won by 370K votes out of nearly 11 million cast in Florida. Abortion being on the ballot doesn't even get into DeSantis still being popular with a segment of that voting population. All it takes is a vote here and a vote there to chip away at the margin. I realize this is just anecdata, but we visited relatives in Florida over Spring Break. They're diehard Republicans, but one of them is voting Kennedy and the other one is just lukewarm on Trump (had hopes for DeSantis). |
They never answer this question. Ever. |
Cars kill 700 children a day. Those are actual children that were born and alive, not just a fetus. Does that scare you and freak you out? |
+1. And many women in this situation already have children, so banning abortions deprives these kids of their mothers. |
Blah, blah, blah. Disingenuous much? |
No idea what this word salad means. |
The vast majority will vote against abortion bans as they should. This is how we settle our disagreements. Your decisions around your own pregnancies will be respected and you have no place in this decision for others. |
You should just admit you are ignorant, because many, many women need D and Cs to save their lives and their ability to birth a healthy child. How is that not healthcare? |
