And also East Silver Spring/Seven Oaks/South Woodside. Basically 20910.

If you're on a budget (for this area), 20901 or 20902. Red Line is 20 min to Union Station plus a 10-20 min drive.

We're in 20901 and people are pretty scheduled, but I don't know anyone's GS level or budget. It's family friendly to me.

Youngkin is headed to do as much damage as he can before leaving office.

Not to worry. Many more good republicans waiting in the wings to replace Youngkin.

Mayberry. Aunt Bee serves her blueberry pie and pot roast for Sunday dinner, and Gomer checks your oil, checks your tires, and cleans your windshield after he fills your tank.

It’s definitely 40 minutes from somewhere.

We moved to falls church city and love it. A lot of people complain it's snobby but our neighbors are very down to earth and kind, normal people.

I love my neighborhood.

I was going to suggest Burke as well.

I’m in Burke too and agree it fits all but the commute. I think only Burke Station area VRE area could get you under that time limit.

Yes, if I were going to raise kids anywhere in DMV again, I would choose Burke.

I’ve lived in Fairfax, Oakton, McLean and Bethesda over the years and I feel like it
Doesn’t exist. Grew up in Burke and it was nice, but I don’t get the same impression now. Good luck

Kensington. Take the MARC train in.

Bowie, if you test into the TAG program.

I’m getting the sense that a lot of posters have a different understanding of “less than 40 minutes” than I do. I mean, maybe on Sunday morning.
