They’ve tried to relaunch Fantasy Island a couple of times, but nobody came close to Ricardo Montalban’s Mr. Roarke.

Troy. Brad Pitt’s washboard abs notwithstanding, the movie was a disappointing cheesy borefest. The story of the Iliad is begging to be made into a GOOD movie. Get the team from HBO’s Rome on it.

A White Men Can't Jump remake was just out.

Please stop with remakes. They're all bad and never as good as the original.

I am also against remakes. Many remakes have destroyed the original series or movie for me. The films should be remembered as they are. For me, it makes no sense to remake a series or movie after several decades. Simply because of the time that has passed and the circumstances that have changed, it will no longer have anything to do with the original.

I thought the remakes of Sabrina and the Thomas Crown Affair were better than the originals.

No!

Why remake a great film? It wouldn't be the same with kids glued to their phones.

Actually I like this idea. Maybe teach kids how to get off them and actually talk.
