Movies/Shows you think should be a remake

I'd like to catch up with the cast of Wonderland. Not a remake, but where did they end up.

Sorry, meant to specify the Australian TV series since a lot of things share that name.

No!

Why remake a great film? It wouldn't be the same with kids glued to their phones.

Will more films be set in the 1980s and before?

Most of Agatha Christie wouldn't exist. Any plot involving getting lost, taking a wrong turn, not knowing a person's background or being followed is harder.

Twilight. The movies are adored for how bad they are. Remake it with a competent cast and some decent special effects, and a whole new generation would probably enjoy it. I believe they’re doing an animated tv show of it, but I can see these being remade in live action down the line.

I had the same thought. Remaking a movie shows a lack of imagination. I prefer new scripts and stories.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

This would almost not make sense

I need to look for the Roots remake

And I agree with Twilight. Everyone BUT Kristen Stewart. She ruined it. Same with Hayden Christen in Star Wars.

The firsr movie was fine with Catherine Hardwick as the director. No need to redo.

+1. It's pure laziness.

I agree with PPs, remake the bad/mediocre movies and shows, not the greats. Newer isn’t necessarily better.

I do wish they’d stream more of the original miniseries.

The bad movies should be redone to be good.
