We had a great time and perfect weather in Grand Cayman.

This year the end of third quarter *did* coincide with Spring Break. At least in FCPS. That gave us two extra teacher workdays on the end of Spring Break.

It would be ideal if that were the case every year. But my kid only has one more year, so no biggie after next year for us.

Been to two places in March:

Palm Beach: rainy and cloudy most of the time so not great for beach and pool. Very expensive and everyone very dressed up. Good weather would have helped but I guess I'm just not a big fan of PB.

Jackson Hole: Great as always, even if it was a little warm (slushy snow in the afternoons). JH is definitely more my vibe than Florida.

N. Myrtle Beach--April is better than March here but temps are in the 60s and sunny until today. My teenagers have been sleeping and eating lots. We've gotten lots of long beach walks in and the fitness room, indoor pool and hot tub are open in our condo building. Our ocean front balcony is comfortable with a sweatshirt. I can't complain.

Do not recommend Club Med Punta Cana. It’s kind of a dump.

We are in Chicago. It is chilly but not unbearably cold by any means. So much to see and do! And really freaking cheap.

We are in costa rica. It's been gorgeous. Spent some days in the cloud forest and temp was amazing..now we are at the beach. It is hot but as long as we are in the water or shade it's fine.

Arizona has had a particularly wet, cool winter. I travel there for work every other month and you’re right - it’s often been warmer here.

I would love to do Caribbean or Costa Rica but it’s so $$$ during spring break.

Are you the poster that was planning to do the cold ass Pink Jeep tour in Sedona at like 7am?

Once there we were told they had actually changed their mind and also my husband’s uncle and aunt were there to stay as well!! Wheeee!! The 4 boomers were constantly cold so the house was at 74 degrees with a FIRE the whole time, almost no food since they don’t seem to eat at that age, and the uncle just yapped nonstop about nothing. Telling me all about his Facebook feed. Also the bed was uncomfortable. 0 stars, do not recommend.

Couldn’t you go out and buy food? Or are there no grocery stores in “junky” East TN??
