For real? Things are 1000x better now.
Inflation does suck, however we as a country did a decent job mitigating it and coming out the other side. Employments strong, markets strong, violent crime started dropping again after a brief rise, and best of all have a stable human as president. |
Yes, retirement accounts are doing great.
I decided to stop purchasing excess stuff and excess food because of rising prices and to clean up clutter around my house, so I'm now actually saving money by buying less, even though prices are up! Have also lost weight since I'm no longer buying soft drinks and fast food. Have also been able to gift my excess stuff and and excess food via my Buy Nothing group to help others save money. Have even saved enough money to be able to donate more to food banks for people in need. |
Do really want this guy back? |
Far better off. I realized what was important to me (family, friends, community). I am no longer estranged to a sister. My husband was able to retire a little early because we refinanced when interest rates dropped. I am fully aware of this privilege. I Give Back more. We have friends over for drinks and home cooked food on the front porch instead of over-priced meals out. I'm more fit because I took up yoga and strength training during covid and kept it up. I don't wake up daily in fear that our leader has started a war with No. Korea.
But I'm worried. Housing is still to high and people don't seem to realize the threat another Trump presidency will bring. I volunteer, a lot, determined to keep him from getting back in the White House. |
I can get things at the grocery store.
I can shop or sit in a restaurant. I am not concerned about stupid things the president says or does. My business is doing very well. My kids are able to take classes in person. My retirement account is riding all time highs. Thanks Joe! |
Of course the last poster is someone who can't seem to speak from personal experience and can only regurgitate right wing talking points.

It appears there’s a shortage of dictionaries….. |
I made less money 4 years ago. By a lot. |
Yes, I am 100% better off now than I was 4 years ago — even 3 years ago. Groceries have gone back down (for the most part). Clothing is still inexpensive. The only expensive thing I pay for now is out. |
*I also earn more than I did before, so that helps! |
Bottom line, what is the GOP solution to many of these issues? They had two years of the House, Senate and White House and the only thing they did was pass a tax cut which ballooned the debt and consolidted the 1% |
Four years ago I was burying a loved one lost to Covid. Unable to go visit my elderly parents in a different state. Frightened for a friend with autoimmune issues.
What a nightmare that was 4 years ago. |
Absolutely I was better off.
Foreign relations were better off as well. The beginning of the end for Biden, IMO, was the Afghanistan withdrawal. As was stated today at the hearing, Biden has destroyed the US' credibility for generations. The border was better off too - immensely. As much as people vote for the economy, which was better under Trump, foreign policy and border security are my top issues. Biden has failed at both. |
You watch too much Fox News if you think this list is any where near accurate. It's so off I don't know where to start. For instance, you are blaming Biden for the outbreak in measles? Empty petroleum reserves? Oil drilling permits far outpace Trump. Biden caused DECADES LOW testing scores? My HHI has grown 2 1/2 times. It's been incredible. |
